Nak'd Threads  +  Brand Development and Design
Project and Client:
An established textiles distributor was venturing into building a new subsidiary to break into the DTC bedding category. The company requested design consultation for brand strategy, visual identity, and content development to establish itself as a competitive and contemporary market player.
Objective:
Create a new and exciting brand that appealed to young, stylish, and cost-aware target audience.
Process and Roles:
After completing brand discovery and market research tasks, I compiled ideas into mood boards and logo design sketches. As the brand and messaging direction became more formed, I continued to improve brand element designs based on client requests, new product developments, and user feedback. I developed final brand asset files and proposed suggestions for future marketing design and creative projects that would be needed to launch the product and brand.
Outcome:
Once final approvals were received, final assets and style guide were delivered as organized and accessible files, always making myself available to resize or reformat items as needed. I eventually designed and developed the website, and provided additional creative and marketing services including packaging mockups, brand photography, and copywriting.
